FAQ

What's your typical setup like for a live music performance?

For indoor venues with a piano on site, no setup is required! I do request that clients ensure the piano is tuned if it is an upright or grand for the best sound experience. For outdoor venues without a piano, my typical setup is a portable keyboard, one PA speaker, one wireless handheld mic for the officiant, a battery pack and the necessary stands/cables for a basic sound system.

I'd be happy to provide a custom quote for you!

Do you take custom requests for wedding ceremony music?

Absolutely! There are many good songs in the world and I enjoy learning what speaks to others' hearts. If it matters to you, I'll bring it to life!

Please note: all music selections must be confirmed at least 6-8 weeks prior to the event. Once the music selection agreement is signed, any changes thereafter may incur applicable fees.

I'd like to have a violinist as well as a singer perhaps, do you offer this?

Yes, we are able to work with other instrumentalists or vocalists for your event needs. Please note that it will be subject to availability and applicable fees will apply for each additional musician required. I'd be happy to provide it in a quote.

My wedding is going to be at an outdoor venue. Do I have to provide a tent/cover for musician(s) to play?

It is generally advisable to provide one to avoid any unnecessary interruption to the music during the ceremony. Often, an outdoor setup at a shaded area will suffice, and I have had clients provide a patio umbrella setup, which works well for one musician.

As with all outdoor events, we'd like to be prepared for unexpected extreme weather as hot sun, rain, wind and snow can damage electronic and battery-operated equipment. I'm happy to discuss further at anytime!

What's the process like to book with you?

When you send an inquiry, I will draft a quote for you based on the information you provide. Once you accept the quote, I will invoice you for a 25% non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking. Once the deposit is paid, we will sign a basic service contract, which includes a music selection list. I will set up a video call meeting to get to know you and discuss your music selections together. The balance owing is due within 14 days prior to your event.
